Censtar H2e is invited to participate in the 2022 TrendBank Hydrogen & Fuel Cell Annual Meeting

From December 13th to 15th, the 2022 TrendBank Hydrogen & Fuel Cell Annual Meeting was held in Ningbo; the theme of this meeting was “Dispelling the Fog: Exploring the Path of Hydrogen Energy Development with Chinese Characteristics”.

Against the backdrop of the intensive promulgation of hydrogen energy policies by the national and local governments, and the gradual implementation of fuel cell demonstration policies, the corporate elites and industry experts participating in this annual meeting focused on the key issues surrounding the development of the hydrogen energy industry, such as "What are the 'fog' obstacles in the development of the hydrogen energy industry? How can we 'dispel the fog'? What is the path of hydrogen energy development with Chinese characteristics?” Through vigorous discussions, they provided more insights for the future development of China's hydrogen energy industry and ultimately reached a consensus.

Zhou Liang, tGeneral Manager of Censtar H2e, was invited to attend this meeting and participated in the Hydrogen Roundtable Forum --"The Power of Giants: How Big Companies can Pull the Industry Forward” at the opening ceremony, along with industry leaders such as Ye Chuhua, General Manager of Shenergy, Rao Hongyu, General Manager of SANY, and Wang Yingge, Vice President of LONGi.

During this forum, Zhou Liang shared his unique insights and perspectives on the "fog" obstacles currently faced by the hydrogen energy industry, as well as how to "dispel the fog and see the bright moon" while walking the "path of hydrogen energy development with Chinese characteristics.”

When discussing the fog surrounding the development of the hydrogen energy industry, Zhou Liang mentioned that the development of China's hydrogen energy industry must comply with the underlying logic of industrial development, relying on the steady and efficient iteration of technology and equipment as the carrier of industrial development. This means that the urgent growth rate of application demand must be matched with the necessary and reasonable equipment development cycle in a mutually supportive and complementary manner.

When discussing how Chinese companies can take a unique path to develop hydrogen energy, Zhou Liang summarized two dimensions. First, the vertical coupling of the hydrogen energy industry chain. At the current stage of development of the hydrogen energy industry, any enterprise in the industry chain cannot be limited to its own commercial logic and profit-making demands. Instead, they should cooperate fully with upstream and downstream enterprises in terms of products, business, capital, and platforms. From upstream hydrogen production, hydrogen energy storage and transportation, hydrogen stations, fuel cell systems, and vehicles to downstream applications, we should consider the entire industry chain. Only when the industry achieves positive value and commercial profitability as a whole can the development of the industry form a virtuous cycle. Second, horizontal coordination within and between enterprises. The traditional business and hydrogen business within an enterprise are not unrelated, as they are both important components of the energy system and should support each other. The rapid development of the hydrogen energy business of Censtar H2e cannot be achieved without comprehensive support from its traditional energy equipment business. Meanwhile, excellent enterprises in the industry chain should also engage in deep collaborative cooperation. By forming horizontal alliances among large enterprises, leveraging complementary advantages and coordinating resources, they can steadily move forward together on the road to industrializing hydrogen energy in China. This is the key to taking a unique path to develop hydrogen energy in China.

On the evening of December 15th, at the 2022 TrendBank Award: The Future, Censtar H2e won a total of four industry awards: Annual Market Force Award, Annual Technology Force Award, Hydrogen Energy Industry Top 50, and Hydrogen Refueling Station Industry Top 20.
