The world's smallest hydrogen station debuts at the 2022 German Gas Station Equipment Exhibition (UNITI EXPO 2022)

The UNITI EXPO 2022 was held in Stuttgart from May 17th to 19th. At this exhibition, as an expert in the reconstruction of global comprehensive energy filling stations, adhering to the brand proposition of "Terminal Reconstruction - Smart Future", Censtar delivered the value concept of low carbon, environmental protection and innovation.

Censtar H2e, as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Censtar, showcased its multifunctional MINI hydrogen refueling device, the world's smallest hydrogen refueling station for distributed scenarios, at the exhibition. This was the first time that the product had been unveiled on the international stage, and it received great attention from numerous international top brands and professional clients. 

The multifunctional MINI hydrogen refueling system showcased at the exhibition is a fully integrated hydrogen station with independent intellectual property rights. The equipment is an independent operating system that combines various functions such as boosting, energy storage, and refueling. It uses hydrogen gas from an external storage tank or hydrogen container at 20MPa as the compressed medium and adopts automatic pressure boosting technology to increase the hydrogen pressure to the rated pressure of 35MPa. The compressed hydrogen is then cooled and stored in a high-pressure hydrogen storage set, and during refueling, it is dispensed through a hydrogen refueling nozzle that meets relevant standards.

In case of insufficient pressure in the hydrogen storage set, the system can automatically activate the pressure boosting device to perform pressure boosting and gas replenishment until the set pressure value is reached, after which the pressure boosting device will stop working automatically.

Furthermore, the multifunctional MINI hydrogen refueling device integrates multiple functions such as hydrogen storage, automatic gas replenishment, cyclic pressure boosting, leak detection and alarm, rapid refueling, and safety control. It has a high level of integration and features a compact design, reasonable layout, user-friendly human-machine interface, comprehensive software display, and an aesthetically pleasing appearance. The product also has the following functional characteristics:

• The pressure boosting system is oil-free and high-purity, ensuring no pollution to the hydrogen gas. The refueling port has a pressure rating of 35MPa and meets the SAE J2600 standard for hydrogen refueling interfaces.

• The device is equipped with a safety valve and various safety measures, such as explosion-proof, anti-static, and spark-free features. It is flexible, easy to operate, and provides smooth and reliable refueling performance.

• The device adopts a modular design with reasonable functional zoning, making it easy to maintain and repair.

• It has cooling functions for the refueling pipeline and hydrogen pressure and temperature control functions to meet the temperature requirements during hydrogen refueling.

• It has an automatic leak detection function and is equipped with a hydrogen leak detection and alarm device. When an alarm occurs, the hydrogen gas intake pipeline can be automatically cut off.

• It can adapt to various external gas sources, such as long-tube trailers and hydrogen containers.

The multi-functional MINI hydrogen station showcased at the exhibition is the world's smallest hydrogen station, designed and manufactured specifically for small and medium-sized hydrogen fuel cell equipment such as industrial forklifts, tourist vehicles, shuttle buses, hydrogen fuel cell drones, boats, and yachts.

In addition, the device can be equipped with an offline hydrogen refueling function and hydrogen storage function, allowing for mobile refueling without the need for an external gas source.
