Zhengzhou Hydrogen Engineering Technology Research Center inaugurated

On December 30, 2019, the opening ceremony of the Zhengzhou Hydrogen Engineering Technology Research Center was held at the Censtar Hydrogen Energy Technology Production Base in Zhengzhou. Yu Wei, the general manager of Censtar, Zhou Liang, the deputy general manager of Censtar and director of Zhengzhou Hydrogen Engineering Technology Research Center, Chen Jianming, deputy general manager of Censtar, and Tang Weibo, general manager of TrendBank, attended the ceremony.

In 2019, Henan Province continued implementing the innovation-driven development strategy, including vigorously promoting the construction of R&D platforms and setting up municipal-level engineering technology research centers and key laboratories.

Censtar Hydrogen Engineering Technology Research Center is qualified in compliant research and development fields, R&D projects, core technologies, and independent intellectual property rights. Furthermore, it has a complete testing infrastructure and an R&D team with high technical competence and rich engineering practice experience. After a series of necessary procedures, such as formal review, expert review, and on-site inspection, the Zhengzhou Hydrogen Engineering Technology Research Center was approved by the Party Committee of the Zhengzhou Municipal Science and Technology in September.

Censtar Hydrogen Engineering Technology Research Center (hereinafter referred to as the Center) was officially established in 2014. It focuses on hydrogen energy utilization in the transportation field. It has a hydrogen station general room, equipment room, compression skid-mounted room, a trial base, a demonstration base, and comprehensive rooms used for research and development, trial production, demonstration, publicity and other purposes.

Relying on the industrial chain development of Censtar, the Center can accelerate the application of key components and technologies; establish a hydrogen energy experiment platform system, and gradually build a hydrogen energy standardized test platform; and carry out technology planning for the hydrogen energy industry and project planning. The Center will also carry out technical cooperation with automobile companies, fuel cell companies, research institutions and regularly hire domestic and foreign experts and scholars to receive technological guidance. The Center will build an industry-university-research cooperation platform to promote the development of the hydrogen energy industry.

Censtar will give full play to the role of Zhengzhou Hydrogen Engineering Technology Research Center in promoting the engineering transformation of hydrogen as a transportation fuel and accelerating the construction of domestic hydrogen energy infrastructure and technology upgrades, thereby contributing to green energy and green transportation development!
